Hey world!! How are you doing?? I keep getting asked "What did I do to loose weight"? Well... :) If you read my blogs before they have all the info. I really dislike giving out my weight every time I loose. I would rather say I have lost weight and leave it at that, but at this point in the game I can't... it is starting to be noticeable... to me honestly I can tell in my face, arms, and legs. As for my tummy uh-not so much, but I have to know I am because (here it goes) in the last 52 days of eating right and working out...I started out at a size 10/11 and now I can fit into a size 4. It is VERY snug, but I did get some size 4 shorts to stay motivated!!! I can happily say I can fit in to a size 6 comfortably.
I'm not bragging by any means. I love helping others as others have helped me. I want my life change to be yours too! If I can help someone out there do the same then this blog has been worth it :)
Here are some tips from SHAPE magazine that helped a lady loose weight and maybe they some of them can help you too...so I must share...
- WEIGHING IN WEEKLY (you can see if you are consistent)
-ENLISTING SUPPORT (if you want to go on a quick run you can ask one of your supporters)
-EXPERIMENTING WITH NEW DISHES (browse the web for recipes)
-DRINKING TO MY HEALTH (take water with you where ever you go)
-MARKING MY CALENDAR (planning your day helps you keep your priorities straight)
-SHOWING OFF MY NEW FIGURE (she was able to wear a bikini)
I have to admit, it works. At first I didn't weight myself because I didn't want to see disappointment. Now whenever I go to my sisters once a week I do check. It does help you see if you are staying on track etc. Support is a biggie. You MUST have people who support you. New dishes I LOVE this tip! I cook everything I eat! This way I know what is going into it :) Drinking to your health....well, I carry water with me everywhere I go! To work daily, to workout, whenever I leave this apartment! You will ALWAYS see me with water! Marking Calendar, well how do you think I know it has been 52 days? LOL I do keep a calendar with the days I have been healthy AND how long I run (ex..1 hour and 30 mins) that is all I do NOT keep track of calories or miles daily. I do look at treadmill but I could NOT tell you on the 33rd day what it was ha ha. Showing off figure...well-like I mentioned before trying or not it is starting to show...So I did get new work pants. I'm sure on Thursday my co-workers will be in awe because now I am still wearing my size 10 to work. Even though I am happy I lost weight I want to loose way more..so yeah.
Cool saying and it is sooo true I had to post.
Motivation... I know it helps me...so I hope it helps you too.
